Hello! Welcome to the Sensitive Life Well Lived. My name is Mary, and I’m a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), published writer and Registered Nurse. In addition to being a nurse, I also have a degree in Genetics and am currently working on a Master of Science in Complementary and Integrative Health. I live and work in the Twin Cities, where I am a public health nurse and part time clinical instructor. My passion is helping others take control of their own wellness. When I’m not writing, studying, teaching, or working, I enjoy knitting, dancing, traveling, cross country skiing, and watching the snow fly with a mug of tea and a good book.

When I learned I was an HSP, I felt so very understood and seen. My hope is that by translating the science of sensitivity in a way everyone can understand I can create that feeling for others. This is a safe space for those who are HSPs, those who are wondering if they are HSPs, and those who love or work with HSPs (or who just want to know more). Thanks for joining me on this journey.

I am also open to work as a writer-contact me to get started!
